Mediterranean Fig Candle

An afternoon beneath a fig tree. Fruit gently torn open, the scent of green leaves, and a little time to stay exactly where you are. Mediterranean Fig brings together ripe fig, bright citrus and delicate jasmine, settling into cedarwood, amber and patchouli. A familiar feeling carried home, to be savoured long after the afternoon has passed.

How to use

First burn: Let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the jar before you put it out. This usually takes 2 to 3 hours. It sets the candle's "memory" and stops it tunnelling.

Every burn: Trim the wick to 5mm before lighting. Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time.

To finish: Use a wick snuffer, or dip the wick into the melted wax and straighten it. Replace the lid once the candle has cooled.

Care Instructions

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from children, pets, draughts and anything flammable. Place it on a heat-resistant surface. Stop using the candle when 1cm of wax remains. Wipe the gold lid with a soft dry cloth only.

Once finished, scoop out any leftover wax, wash the vessel in warm soapy water, and reuse it for cotton pads, brushes or a small plant.
